Reviews about Cowboy Liquors
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆September 18, 2019, by Jason DziukReasonable prices, my hind end. They are conveniently located and the staff are polite, but that's all that can really be offered in their favor. There was a very odd smell in there yesterday that I couldn't place, but that can change within a few days. The main factor in the rating is their price, and it is excessive. My benchmark is Monopolowa, an Austrian potato vodka that should be $19 a handle, and here it is $27. I consider that an excessive markup. This is not a mom-and-pop shop in a small town, so they should not have anywhere near an $8 markup on a $19 bottle of liquor. I feel the need to call out a clearly limited selection, but compared to the box stores around where I live that have more real estate, I suppose it is perfectly acceptable that they would have a much smaller [and less varied] offering than I'm used to seeing.
